Church and Community Transformation

INTRODUCTION

The Community and Church Transformation (CCT) theme encircling the 4Es partnership model is an integral mission concept that gained momentum in 2017 by engaging churches and organizations to bridge the gap between church and community, envisioning and harnessing faith as the connector. PMS initiated the CATCH – Community Awakening through Churches consortium capitalized on UMOJA approaches which created openness and opinionated discourse among the partner churches that joined the CCT flagship programme for long-term holistic development.

Under this theme, we are creating opportunities for networking, capacity-building trainings, providing Internships to youth & pastors, pastoral care, and enabling an entrepreneurial environment through access to capital and revolving funds with the aim of improving economic well-being at the grassroots level.At its core, the thematic focus is on the profound potential of the church as a catalyst for transformative impact within its local community and beyond.

THEMATIC OBJECTIVES

• To enable the local church and other partners to transform the lives of the underprivileged through the provision of resources and strengthening their capacities.
• To inspire, equip, and mobilize youth to be the witness of Christ and play a positive role in the community’s holistic development.
• To enhance the organizational capacity of PMS through mobilizing resources and strengthening communication with major stakeholders.
