Asif Patras is a hardworking and talented photographer from Green Town, Lahore. For several years, he had been running a small photography studio to earn a living for his family. However, his work was not going well. His cameras and other equipment were old and outdated, which affected the quality of his photographs. Because of this, he could not attract many clients and often lost work opportunities to better-equipped studios.

Due to limited income, Asif struggled to meet his household expenses. Providing for his family became difficult, and saving money to improve his business was nearly impossible. Despite his skills and dedication, the lack of resources kept his business from growing and caused constant financial stress.

During this challenging time, Asif came to know about the support provided by Pak Mission Society (PMS) through its interest-free loan program. He learned that the program aimed to support small entrepreneurs so they could improve their livelihoods with dignity.

Asif applied for the support and, after fulfilling the required criteria and assessment process, he received an interest-free loan of PKR 75,000 from Pak Mission Society. This support gave him the opportunity he had been waiting for to invest in his business.

With the grant amount, Asif upgraded his photography equipment, including new cameras, lenses, and improved studio facilities. The quality of his work improved significantly, which helped him attract more clients. His professional reputation grew, and his client base expanded steadily.

As a result, Asif is now earning almost twice his previous income. His improved earnings have strengthened his household finances and enabled him to provide better for his family. He now feels confident, stable, and hopeful about the future.

Beyond his personal progress, Asif continues to serve his community actively. He plays an important leadership role in his local church as the Treasurer and is a member of the Church and Community Development Committee. Through this committee, funds are raised to support the education of underprivileged children and orphans, as well as medical assistance for families who cannot afford treatment. Currently, the committee is sponsoring school fees for three students and providing medical support to three vulnerable families. In addition, Asif uses his professional skills to support the church by providing free social media coverage for church events and activities, helping to extend its outreach. He also remains faithful in giving regular tithes and offerings, contributing consistently to the work of God’s Kingdom.
