The Church and Community Transformation (CCT) theme of Pak Mission Society (PMS) lies at the core of its vision and mission. With a commitment to fostering holistic community transformation, PMS employs innovative, unconventional models that challenge the status quo and embrace collaborative partnerships. As a pioneer of the CATCH (Church and Community Transformation through Church) initiative, PMS has successfully expanded its reach and impact across multiple levels. PMS has strategically positioned itself for the future using the 4Es partnership model, designed to bridge the gap between church and community while elevating faith as a key driver for sustainable development.

Expand the CATCH program into rural and underserved regions of Pakistan to ensure wider inclusion and deeper community impact.

Community Voices
I always wanted to run my own beauty salon, and following my dream I started 'Meerab Beauty Salon' with a modest investment in 2016. However, I lacked business knowledge, including budgeting and managing other expenses. To acquire business knowledge, I was searching for a platform where I could learn about business operations and management. Fortunately, I came to know about Pak Mission Society, which provides business trainings to women entrepreneurs and help them scale up their businesses. These trainings helped me to strengthen my business plan and Improve its execution. Additionally, with my savings, I also upgraded my salon, and now earning more than before.

I lacked the necessary knowledge and experience in managing Church records and strengthening our congregation. Furthermore, I was seeking effective strategies to actively engage the youth in our Church. PMS Church team visited our area and introduced us to the Umoja approach which changed my perception of looking at things. These trainings not only helped me grow personally but also improved our Church's youth. I have learned to maintain our Church records in order, and now we have a Church office.
By using this approach we are now managing our Sunday school classes more effectively by segregating children and youth into different groups according to their age and needs.

Before joining the Youth Developing Internship Programme, I had no knowledge or skills in graphic design and was unfamiliar with the necessary software. However, I am passionate about graphic design and want to become one of the best graphic designers. As a result of this internship, I learned how to use graphic design software and got better at it. Now, I'm designing IEC materials for my organization and pursuing my passion. This journey has transformed my passion for graphic design into a fulfilling career.
