With the generous support of UNODC Pakistan, NACTA, and the European Union in Pakistan, and in collaboration with Lasbela University of Agriculture, Water and Marine Sciences, Pak Mission Society organized the Oceanpreneurs Startup Competition for the first time in Lasbela under the Youth Innovation & Blue Economy Entrepreneurship Program. The event provided a powerful platform for young minds to transform innovative ideas into impactful business concepts.
A total of 8 dynamic teams participated, presenting startup ideas focused on the Blue Economy, Entrepreneurship, and Sustainable Solutions. Each team pitched their concept before an expert panel, received valuable feedback, and showcased remarkable creativity, passion, and problem-solving skills.
The top three winning teams received PKR 400,000 as seed funding, enabling them to transform their ideas into practical startups, strengthen their business models, and take their first steps toward sustainable entrepreneurship.
